Owen D. Kurtin
Owen’s practice focuses on corporate, commercial, and regulatory representation for both mature and early stage companies, investors, and lenders in the Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Communications & Media, Information Technologies, and Satellites & Space sectors. He has experience in the Energy and Financial Services sectors, and in Constitutional and civil rights issues arising in the Communications, Media, Technology, and Arts sectors. Since organizing Kurtin PLLC in 2008 Owen has represented clients in 36 countries on 6 continents and across the United States on transactional and dispute resolution matters.

Owen received his undergraduate and law degrees from McGill University, Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Susan B. Egan
Susan B. Egan’s practice focuses on representation of both large and small employers in defense of discrimination suits, including sex, race, age, disability, and pregnancy discrimination and in hostile work environment and harassment claims. Susan also represents employers and employees in employment and severance agreement litigation and in non-compete and confidentiality agreement litigation. Susan also represents employers in the implementation of human resources programs, training of supervisors in compliance issues, mediations with employees alleging grievances, and in actions for non-compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, the New York State Labor laws, and other statutes and regulations protecting employees. Prior to her new affiliation with Olasov, LLP, Susan practiced with Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts and Edwards & Angell, for which she was managing partner of its New York office and a member of the firm-wide executive committee. She founded Egan Law Firm in 2002.

Susan is a graduate of Northwestern University and Hofstra Law School. She is admitted to practice before the courts of New York State and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, and Third Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
